We spend our lives taking measures to ensure we avoid getting pregnant. So, when the time comes to actually try to conceive, it can come as quite a shock to find that it’s not always as easy as our sex-education classes at school made it out to be. While it’s completely normal for it to take up to a year to fall pregnant, if it is taking longer than that it might be time to start thinking about getting some professional help.
